About me
My name is Christian Wood aka Woodsy (he/him). I hold a BA (hons) degree in Illustration from Camberwell College of Arts and I have been practicing as a freelance illustrator and animator for around 7-8 years. I make dynamic, playful illustrations and animations, using influences from music, youth culture, fashion, physical theatre, dance, science and technology. For most of my work I use software such as Adobe Suite, Cinema 4d, AfterEffects and a good old pencil and paper. I can also confidently use a spraycan or paintbrush when needed.     I spent the first 2 years mainly answering briefs which were set by professional practitioners and tackling live projects with actual clients. Lots of idea generation, brainstorming and group projects working with other designers. My final year was a chance to work on projects involving my interests at the time and to learn new software. I art directed my final project, arranged filming and photoshoots of dancers, editing and animating for the final degree show.
