Christine Hartland – Co-founder / COO
Christine Hartland is an independent film producer and co-founder of My SMASH Media, the IP market place for the creative industries, with fellow independent producer Fiona Gillies and tech expert Mahesh Ramachandra. Christine and Fiona met on the Creative England Market Trader programme.
Christine’s debut feature the thriller WMD in 2008, was one of the first films to follow a reverse distribution strategy. She produced CONTAINMENT which was released and sold worldwide. She received Creative Europe and BFI development funding.
She has worked in corporate live event and video production for over 20 years.
My SMASH Media won a Gold Award for Tech Innovation at Cannes NEXT, the Innovation section of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
