About me

I am currently Art Director of Sight & Sound magazine. I have 20 years experience of editorial design, working with editors and managing production. I have considerable experience of commissioning illustration and photography, with many long term contacts and relationships. I previously worked on Eye and frieze magazines, and designed books for Phaidon and Taschen. I have been a member of the Society of Typographic Designers and taught at The London College of Printing. I recently completed courses in Premiere Pro and After Effects. I read the news several times a day, in print and online, and therefore have a good understanding of current affairs and culture, in particular Art, Film and Design.
