For years I’ve tried to define what I do, what I am, and to be honest, I still don’t have the answer in a condensed title. I’m a conceptual thinker, a doer and a maker. I understand the science of things and combine that with creative thinking, so when I pitch a concept, I also understand how it physical works.
I’m hands on and have spent ten years learning the building blocks of everything I can - whether it’s animation, programming, pattern-making, design, electronics, compositing, photography, or installation. I believe it’s not about the medium, it’s about where you can take it.
I’ve designed patterns for Alexander McQueen, designed wallpapers for Osborne and Little, installed artworks at Heathrow's Terminal 5, worked on the 2012 Olympics and traveled all over the world on experiential projects for advertising. I lecture at Central Saint Martins and have done an MA at the Royal College of Art.
I’m not easily pigeon-holed. Ideas are what drive me, I think the obvious direction is usually the wrong one, and everything I do is about learning something new. I’m a non-linear, multi-disciplined creative who can cope with just about anything that’s thrown at me.

- PERNOD RICHARD INSTALLATIONWorking with with illustrator and Art Director Katie Scott, we created an unique 15m x 3.5m animated wallpaper that slowly evolved over a 4 hour period. Created for Pernod Ricards' annual creative meeting on the private island of Embiez in the south of France and installed by Paris based Events agency Auditoire. The installation became a passive digital experience that functioned as a thought provoking backdrop to the schedule of creative speakers. Using 'Foley' artist Michael to create the audio effect and Lewis and myself to create the animation we were able to take Katie's illustration into an animated form, and her unique world became an animated experience. Animation Direction – Christopher Pearson Illustration / Direction – Katie Scott Hand Animation – Lewis White Composer and Foley Artist – Michael Floyd Production – Christopher Pearson Studio
- Osbourne & Little - CabochonSir Peter Osbourne originally invited me to do a signature range or wallpapers in 2010. Due to market demand during over the next couple of years we reduced my contribution to the Cabochon collection to two designs. Feuille de chêne started its life as a 3D model repeating form created as an artwork for Heathrow Teminal 5, with the help of Squint Opera and Artwise curators. The design was then converted to a flat "wireframe" image that when viewed from a distance looks like a hand engraved print.
