I began my media journey interning at a music tech B2B startup on Brick Lane. After finishing my degree in Music, Media and Performance Technology at the University of Limerick, Ireland, I returned to London and began working at the in-house creative agency at ViacomCBS, working on linear and digital projects across all of their networks, including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon.
This includes being across the creative (script, edit, design, audio production), as well as liaising with compliance, music and media licencing, and transmission/delivery teams. Additionally, I’ve been on the ground support at events such as the EMAs and VidCon London.

Velocity International is the in-house creative agency at ViacomCBS, working on international campaigns across the likes of Nickelodeon, MTV, Comedy Central and Channel 5. Velocity works with a range of leading clients, including Sony, Paramount, Warner Bros, Universal Pictures, Diageo and Tik Tok, as well as ViacomCBS tentpole events such as the EMAs, Kids’ Choice Awards, VidCon London and the Isle of MTV Malta.

This was a multidisciplinary degree that helped me gain excellent academic
and technical skills, as well as to become comfortable with being an accountable and valuable player in group project scenarios.
The course dealt with learning technical skills such as coding and video/audio editing, as well as learning to write and research academically. As well as doing very technical work, I undertook modules in project management and IT law.
My final year project involved creating an audiovisual installation comprised of original video, an original audio composition, and a thesis outlining the background research undertaken.

I was awarded an AVCM (Associate of the Victoria College of Music) Diploma in classical piano playing. This was after going through 8 grades worth of exams, doing a practical playing exam, and a theory test.
