At my current role I work with the head of production, ensuring that all manufacturing goes smoothly. Working as part of a team we are responsible for the practical realization of all design briefs through to catwalk sampling and mainline product development. It is integral for us to work alongside the in-house team and all suppliers, national and international, to make sure that all information is communicated in the best way possible and that any difficulties are resolved as quickly and efficiently as possible. Sample management is key to my role and it is vital that all item locations are communicated clearly to our in-house team as well as our press office, Karla Otto. I am also working on the online webstore for YANG LI’s diffusion line, SAMIZDAT, preparing it for its launch later this year. I make certain that all stock levels are correct, organise and supervise photography for all styles and write descriptions for all items, keeping SEO in mind.

In this role I work on maintaining the aesthetic of the front end of the webstore whilst producing content for the social media channels. I propose ideas for (and later produce) the graphics and content for the brand’s online presence - this includes coordinating photo-shoots, liaising with model agencies and hair/make-up artists in addition to sourcing props. I enjoy working closely with the in-house photographer to create campaign and product images. It is my responsibility to ensure that the retouching of the photography remains consistent for use as resources across all communications and PR. Using these resources, I create and schedule newsletters, facebook and Instagram posts and targeted SMS communication for our customers in-line with the requirements of the buyer and merchandiser. I do continuous research to ensure that 10store’s communication remains in-line with other industry key players and - in addition to these functions - I am responsible for using web analytics to make sure that we keep our customers engaged.
