About me

I have 18 years of experience making award winning & talked about Factual, Entertainment, Reality & Observational documentary programming for peak and daytime television and online channels. I am proven at delivering shows which attract the much sought-after 16-34 audience and am also excited by & experienced in delivering first series’. I’ve managed teams, and talent, planned, produced and directed complex shoots with top tier talent and vulnerable contributors, run multiple edits and am often called upon to deliver Show 1’s and fix problematic scenes, all while remaining calm under pressure. I also have track record for being an excellent storyteller, talented music selector and brilliant people person who strives to build team spirit and ensure all voices are heard. I'm passionate about diversity on and off screen. I love bringing creativity and humour into my programme-making as much as possible but have an equally strong passion for highlighting social issues that affect marginalized communities. As alumni of Donna Taberer & Screen Skills’ prestigious Series Producer training programme, I was mentored by Jonny Rothery (C4 Music/Formats commissioner), Damian Kavanagh (former Controller of BBC3) and Nina Bhagwat (former Off-Screen Diversity Executive at C4). Currently on the jury for the RTS Awards (2020).

Following a recommission for the BAFTA & NTA award nominated Series 1, I was delighted to be brought back onto The Rap Game to series produce Series 2. Along with my Exec, I am responsible for overseeing staffing, casting, development of challenges, sourcing locations, selecting guest mentors & liaising with talent managers and agents, research chats with guest mentors, communicating with various BBC teams, ensuring the welfare of our artists is paramount throughout filming, scripting & producing Krept, Konan and DJ Target on the ground and maintaining good levels of communication, all while navigating a pandemic.
