SÒLAS is a sleepwear brand with a focus on minimal design, comfort and modern luxury. A collaboration between Ruth Mitchell and Ciorstaidh Monk that merges their complementary aesthetics, skills in fashion design, print and photography. SÒLAS is a Scottish Gaelic word meaning comfort and joy. This inspires the collection using thoughtful design and attention to fine details, with a genuine care about the craft of making. Print designs are made in-house, inspired by Scottish wilderness and the natural environment. Colours are chosen carefully to feel harmonious and flattering, and garments are intended to be as comfortable and luxurious as possible, made in 100% silk in roomy shapes, as easy to sleep in as to wear to complement the rest of your wardrobe.
