I'm a Yalalteca-Mexican photographer and visual artist based in the United Kingdom. I use photography to explore ways of addressing indigenous identity and its connections with territory, migration, and community bonds.
I have experience working as a photographer, local producer and visual creator for companies like Vice US, Nat Geo, and Nike, among others. My work has been published in The New York Times, LA Times, Guardian, Buzzfeed, and Remezcla, among others.
I'm a 2020 Visura mentee, a Magnum fellow, a National Geographic Society Explorer, and a member of the Women Photograph and Indigenous Photograph collectives.
