About me
I'm the Editor in Chief at Good Beer Hunting, and a published cookbook author. Additionally, I work as a freelance copywriter, journalist, editor, and recipe developer in London, England.
I specialise in food, drink, travel, and lifestyle writing. My award-winning first book, "The Beer Lover's Table: Seasonal Recipes and Modern Beer Pairings," was published in 2019. Beyond my work at Good Beer Hunting, I also write monthly food, beer, and wine columns for award-winning London bottle shop Hop Burns & Black, and have contributed to publications ranging from Time Out New York to Pellicle Magazine and Imbibe Magazine.
On the copywriting front, I've spent years working on diverse projects and campaigns for leading global brands, including Viator/TripAdvisor, Virgin Atlantic, Sipsmith Gin, and Zipcar. My experience includes everything from long-form branded articles and blog posts to snappy website copy, tone-of-voice documents, and newsletter and social copy.
Writing honours include first place in the Best Book, Best Technical Writing, and Best Travel Writing categories at the 2019 North American Guild of Beer Writers Awards. I also won first place in the Best Beer and Travel Writer category and second place in the Best Beer Communicator – Online and Best Beer Writer – National Media categories at the 2020 British Guild of Beer Writer Awards.
