I am a user experience (UX) consultant who specialises in user experience research, strategy and design.
I believe that employing the principles of human-centred design allows us to both answer business needs and ensure sustainability for companies, but also enhance the lives of our customers by putting them at the centre when crafting engaging products and services.
I have worked in a number of industries from travel to banking to social media and telecoms for clients such as Sun International, Facebook, Vodafone, Investec, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Google. I have also lead research teams in 4 African countries.

Service Design & UX Research:
• Working with the client and DesignOps teams to uncover user and business needs around the implementation of a new content management system (CMS) for a major South African telco's updated e-commerce website.
• Socialising user research with the business and developing a research roadmap
• Designing and managing qualitative research studies, including in-depth interviews, focus groups and usability testing.
• Developing the research artefacts such as recruitment screeners, discussion guides and reporting templates and conducting the research sessions including moderating.
• Analyse the findings and extrapolate insights and recommendations to inform the service design framework, customer mindsets and journeys, and the design system components.
Content Strategy:
• Working with the content team to develop the content strategy for the CMS and updated website to ensure the longevity of the project through the delivery of the right content at the right time.
• Conducting content audits and designing an intuitive information architecture and taxonomy.
• Working with the team to analyse and benchmark competitor offerings, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are incorporated in the long term.
