About me

I am a freelance photographer specialising in sportswear and active lifestyle. I graduated from the University of Brighton in 2008 and was that year named Young Fashion Photographer of the Year. In 2009 I was awarded the RPS Jeff Vickers Bursary to support a young commercial photographer, and these awards helped jump start my career, shooting fashion for a range of brands and magazines such as ELLE, Topshop, The Pool, Emily & Fin, ADAY and Amazon. In recent years I have grown a personal passion for sport and fitness, and have incorporated this into my work, shooting for sportswear brands such as Adidas, Nike, Puma, Active in Style and Fashercise, and lifestyle companies such as Soho House Group, Heartcore and Boom Cycle. I recently did my first underwater shoot and want to explore this more in 2020!

  Reclaim the NightLike many women, I often feel too scared to run at night. There’s a lot to say about this state of affairs, a lot of anger and frustration. But sometimes when I do run at night, in the company of other women, pounding the city pavements to the rhythm of a good chat, I feel energised by the experience. So here’s to running the night, boldly.

• Fantastic GymnasticsA personal project with gymnast Elise Lascaris-Pierre. I wanted to explore the visually rich world of gymnastics, and was inspired by the bold colours, variety of textures and graphic shapes in a training gym - from the shiny plastic of the crash mats to the soft felt of the floor and the surfaces of the bars slightly worn by chalky palms. Gymnasts are renowned for their strength and athleticism but also their grace and poise, and this combination of strength and femininity appealed to me. I c
