About me
Clara Bacou is a 3D artist and online curator, with skills in 2D illustration, 3D modelling, mural painting, animation and graphic design. Clara’s illustrations have been selected to exhibit internationally, as part of both group and solo shows in Toronto, Budapest, Florence, Lisbon, Arizona and at Frieze registered galleries in her hometown London. She has worked as a young curator and young people's events programmer for Tate Modern/Britain’s official youth collective and as an illustration assistant at Edge Design, painting assistant for visual artist Lauren Baker and sign painting apprentice for designer Matthew McGuinness. Clara studied Graphic Design communication at Central Saint Martins and has produced work for a body of clients including Tate Modern, Uniqlo, Snapchat, Boxpark, House of Vans, Ziggy Marley, Galantis and charities Save Wild Tigers and Land Aid. Clara also curates an instagram art featuring page called @artdisocvered which has accumulated a community of over 140k art admirers. Art Discovered is interested in bringing to awareness highly talented individuals online and being a voice for creative quality and influencer of art culture. We push deserving artists into the viral mainstream and want to make great art accessible to viewers worldwide.
