About me

Clare is an artist, still-life and portrait photographer living in London. Her portrait photography is strong and direct yet has a subtle elegance and simplicity that allows her sitters character to shine through. Approaching still-life and product photography with confidence and grace, she often incorporates quirky or humorous elements to her contemporary style. In 2019 Clare worked as photographer for the Steve McQueen, Tate Year 3 Project. Clare is available for freelance work.

  Tate Year 3 ProjectAn ambitious visual portrait of London featuring tens of thousands of Year 3 school children Steve McQueen Year 3 is a major new artwork, which will culminate in one of the most ambitious schools projects that London has ever seen.

  UPROOTEDUPROOTED features six female artists from different cultural backgrounds working with a distinctly diverse approach: photography, installation pieces and works on paper. The unexpected fusion of each artist's practice leads to a metaphorical understanding of the concept uprooted. The exhibition celebrates the not-yet possibilities when something or someone is rooted out from its familiar location.
