I am a Psychology graduate, currently working as Talent Researcher at Designtalent. My passion lies in experience design, human behaviour and design research.
Part-time role working for an early-stage startup Main role: user research, journey mapping, behavior analysis
We connect the most outstanding talent and the best technology to optimally address the challenges of our clients. As a Part-time job, my role is to work directly with the two founders doing Market Research, Account Management and managing the website.
Designtalent offers Talent solutions across the digital/physical spectrum for design, innovation and emerging technology. They combine talent strategy and employee experience design (EX). During my time here I had the chance to evolve in two directions. 1) Design Research: • Employee Branding for Designit. My goal was to improve their Talent Acquisition processes and their Employee Experience. I analyzed where the best talent in the UK is, mapping different variables I discovered insights and provide new market opportunities. • Internal Training through Innovation and Thinking Labs. • Collaborating with the Employee Experience team 2) End to end recruitment for Design roles. • Market Research / Competitor Analysis • Account Management
I studied Psychology at Universidad Pontificia Comillas, I had the chance to understand Psychology from the different fields that exist. I can apply a lot of knowledge acquired during these years in the Design Industry. • Interviews: To empathize with people and understand the “whys” and “hows”, instead of the “whats”. • Observation: The non-verbal information is as important as the verbal one, I learned some tricks and key behaviors that help to get a holistic view. • The cognitive behavioral therapy is the best one to perceive patterns. • The personal growth, the tolerance, empathy, and comprehension gained during this degree, is what I really matter and makes you a good researcher and a good people “analyzer”.
