About me

I was born in Caracar, Venezuela. I lived in Miami for a year and at my 12 age I came to Spain, where I found my real love: advertisings. For years my desire to grow, create and make me notice frome the shadows have ben increasing untill create the flamboyant and demanding girl who I am now. If I could tell something to my younger self, I would tell me to not be afraid of.

  IllustrationsEverything started with a challenge: illustrate for a psychologist brand. They give me the content, and I create the post. Then, I realize that I enjoy doing it, so I started illustrating for my own. (@codiblack @lauraruizpsicologa)
• PepsiCoI worked hand to hand with this Brand, that means that I worked with all his brands at social media. Sometimes it was as challenged as passionate because we don’t have organic materials. We had to do everything with 3D mock-ups, and they had to be the most realistic as possible.
• Complot school of CreativityThe school Complot wanted to stay in the top of mind of people as the best creative school from Barcelona. We thought that, if we center our campaign rewarding old members, new possible members will want it too. We knew that the school symbol is a cat, and we found an interesting fact that all genius has cats, so our old members should have one too. That’s our concept: All genius has cats.

  La Marató TV3La Marató is a TV program which helps in social causes. That year was about cancer, and the objective was to collect donations for investigation because as more investigation, more advances. That was our concept: Investigations gives life.

  VaporwaveIn 2016 I discovered a musical trend. I didn’t know anything about it, so I investigated it. That trend was called Vaporwave, and it also has an artistic current. The vaporwave artists usually express sadness, fear and they’re looking for a dark sense of life mixing classic art, futuristic art, and retro art. @codiblack

  What's NextSitges Next is an Advertising Festival, but it isn´t a typical one. This one is created to price the futuristic and technological creativities. For this reason, the concept this year's was "What's next?". We tried to simulate that we are ready to go to the future, and we did it with a retro-futuristic glitch aesthetic.
