The main focus of my role at the moment is to produce content for the company blog. I maintain a pipeline of ideas, write the content, edit it and publish it. I also produce content for other areas of the website, as well as proofreading and editing internal and external documentation. I also support the team, looking after the office space and performing ad hoc tasks to keep things running smoothly. This can include tasks as diverse as setting up and managing an office phone system to painting the meeting rooms. On top of this, I arrange any office events that are scheduled, including the Christmas party.
I worked as a freelance copywriter for the copywriting service based on my university campus. I applied for jobs and wrote content according to the brief, usually with a two/three day turnaround time. I also proofread my own work before submission.
