I see what I do as problem solving. Finding a way to communicate an idea, message or brand that resonates. To me good design is about exploring ideas, revealing new ways of thinking and communicating complexity with precision and dignity.
I feel design also involves listening, immersing and understanding the project through the eyes of the client, makes for robust designs which enables myself to get behind the project and help it to find its visual voice. I pride myself in the relationships I maintain with clients, whether this is understanding them on a personal level and providing reassurance that I understand their aims and objectives both commercially and personally.
Currently I am working as Lead Designer for DAZN Creative, A global creative agency born inside DAZN. As a team we aim to make the most iconic & effective creative in the sports industry.
I lead a team of four designers + additional freelancers collaborating with strategists, campaign thinkers, makers, writers & producers to deliver global creative campaigns, documentaries and brand development and activation for DAZN and commercial clients alike. Delivering global activation, culturally influential ideas and localised marketing materials.
During my career, I have worked in a range of creative agencies working across multiple sectors including the Broadcasting, sports, hospitality, consumer goods, health and financial sectors. This has enabled myself to become to multidisciplinary designer and creative thinker that can look at projects from a wider spectrum of outcomes such as print, digital, social or motion design with strong rationale to the commercial and creative outcome/results.
