As a Sales & Marketing Executive, my primary role is to provide sales and marketing support to my business unit. I report to the Head of UK Marketing and have a responsibility for developing and executing the annual marketing plan and initiatives to support growth targets. I also work on undertaking business analyst tasks such as market research, prospect identification and client penetration strategies, client and prospect research and Local Market Planning.
As of 2018, I've been given responsibility to lead the marketing efforts for the UK Real Estate and UK Food and Drink practices. This role involves me delivering marketing initiatives to improve prospect engagement and enable sales to drive new business.
Below are examples of some of the projects and tasks I have recently worked on:
▪ Leveraging and activating the Aon relationship with a variety of corporate partners and trade associations including (but not limited to) Airmic (UK Association of risk managers), the Food and Drink Federation, and Manchester United for the benefit our clients
▪ Working with third parties to deliver innovative marketing communications such as thought leadership and animated videos
▪ Aon UK marketing campaigns including (but not limited to) the Aon Brexit solution, our bi annual Global Risk Management Survey, reintroducing the UK food and drink practice via innovative marketing and promoting Aon cyber risks offering amongst clients
▪ Strategic marketing guidance for the UK Real Estate team including integrated marketing campaigns and web/social redevelopment
▪ Being part of the first project team within Aon to utilise lead nurturing, lead scoring and social selling to manage prospect engagement
▪ Working with Client Directors to identify and develop prospects and provide ongoing support in this area
▪ Ensuring marketing efforts are GDPR compliant
▪ Further integrating within the business and deliver marketing campaigns that support growth targets as well as
ensuring we have a robust new business pipeline going forward. This also involves taking an Aon United approach and bringing the solutions Aon provide as a whole, to our clients
