I am a digital designer/retoucher with a background in fashion photography and experience in the luxury sector. Producing intuitive designs that increase user engagement is something I find extremely rewarding. I like to stay up-to-date on the latest web & mobile technologies with a view to implementing them in suitable projects. I combine a keen eye for detail with a technical understanding of the processes needed to create high quality imagery.
Arroe are a tech startup that provide portable charging cases for multiple devices. They asked me to produce designs for an iOS app and responsive website. I created consistent UI patterns that featured throughout both.
I helped Topshop to unify their desktop and mobile user experiences by creating consistent UI patterns across all device sizes. Each page was discussed and reviewed in detail to ensure all elements were covered, which was especially important for pages with a lot of dynamic content. Additionally, I was asked by the head of digital to redesign key pages of the site. Initially designing in Sketch, I then used my front-end development skills to code working versions of the pages. This meant that I was able to present these pages with all the intended functionality, ensuring they could be handed over to the web developers without ambiguity
I have produced both digital and print designs for Lufthansa and its subsidiaries that have been used across their website, newsletters, printed marketing material, as well as internal marketing. Types of creative included digital banners, calendars and vinyl stickers. It was important to produce designs that not only fit the brief, but also adhered to their corporate brand guidelines. Working in an efficient way was also essential in order to meet tight deadlines.

My roles included: • Redesigning key pages of the site, including the homepage and checkout • Convert the homepage designs into coded web pages • Design and code landing pages for key launches • Design trigger email marketing • Design weekly email marketing based on the marketing calendar • Retouch imagery where necessary
Practicology hired me to help with the website redesigns of retail brands Hobbycraft and Dreams. As well as designing various UI elements, I also had to take into consideration the user experience as a whole, as the user journey had a huge influence on the final designs. It was important that my decisions were well informed and took into consideration the current technologies of the websites so that the final designs were realistic in terms of implementation. I presented my progress to the clients at various stages to update them and keep the projects on schedule.
