During my time there, I worked across the following accounts: JOB TODAY, Bolney Wine Estate, Soil Association, Pied a Terre, Elizabeth Shaw, Caorunn, anCnoc, friendrequest, CliKD and Master Oh. My duties included: - Establishing effective and lasting relationships with the press, including: the Evening Standard, the Metro, the Daily Star, the Times, and more - Going on press visits to regional locations such as Reading and Oxford - Reaching out and establishing relationships with key influencers such as @english_ems, @luxeat, @fairydustcaitlin, @thatoxfordgirl and more - Creating high-quality press releases to be distributed and sold-in to broadcast, print, online, radio, etc. - Securing coverage across a variety of trade and consumer publications: from the Evening Standard to Elite Business, the Daily Star to Drinks Business, and so on - Developing high-quality documents for our clients, including: media strategies, social media content calendars, media briefings docs, event bibles and more - Diary management for the entire Stellar PR team - responsible for the team meeting their deadlines - Creating high-quality, up-to-date media lists for the team ahead of media sell-ins - Ensuring central team databases are accurately maintained on a timely basis - Responsible for compiling daily press summaries for all clients to be shared by 10am
Reporting to both the Account Director, Caroline Cross, and Social Media Executive, Demi Bisette-Wilson, I was responsible for: - Creating and scheduling social media plans via Hootsuite - Developing testimonial and thought leadership social media campaigns - Writing and uploading blogs for clients' websites via CMS (B2B and B2C) - Writing press releases of which were later distributed to the press subsequently featured online - Conducting market research to improve RONIN’s business development
Crest Comms is a digital PR agency. During my time there I worked across a diverse variety of accounts, including: InvestorConnected, Raffle House, Maison Bab, Lawrence Stephens, Lyons O’Neill, The Ability People (TAP), Travideo, Save My Exams, DayBreakHotels. My duties included: - Creating high-quality written content on behalf of clients (comment pieces, blogs, press releases, etc.) - Liaising with the media to pitch content on behalf of clients - Monitoring the media for opportunities for clients to react to - Running social media accounts on behalf of clients and creating engaging materials for social media - Fostering strong relationships with clients - ensuring clients feel up-to-date and in the loop with the work we are carrying out on their behalf - Producing reports and feedback for clients on the work we carried out on their behalf - Communicating with clients on a regular basis (via email, phone, WhatsApp, Slack, etc.) -Utilising my professional networks to help Crest increase its client roster and revenues - Identifying opportunities to approach prospective clients During my time there I secured coverage in a variety of business and consumer publications both in print and online. Reporting to both the head of the R.S department, Laura Harvey and the head of sixth form, Matthew Bournat, I was responsible for: - Developing schemes of learning for the RS department - Shadowing teachers during RS lessons (classes with years 7-13) - Establishing a social media presence for the RS department - Teaching lessons to year 8 students - Mentoring year 13 students in psychology: this involved making workbooks and revision guides for the students
