  • Metro Imaging is a high-end photographic print lab. My role involved overseeing all aspects of Metro's client exhibition requirements, including outlining briefs, quoting for varied budget limitations, managing job production, scheduling jobs, invoicing and taking payment. My contribution depended on understanding often vague client requirements, internal multi-level & inter-departmental communication, overseeing quality control, administering conflict resolution, as well as mentoring and supporting team members when necessary. I also acted as an entrusted representative at local and international photo festivals, including Photo London, Frieze and Paris Photo. Collaborative working – Incorporated client and industry feedback to enable practical company-wide protocol outlining service and quality standards. Protocol was implemented through digital log-books accessible remotely via any permitted location, as well as managing client expectations through clarity of information prior to job commitment. Methodical approach – Initiated regular focused and inclusive inter-departmental forums to discuss service updates and alterations, which helps to boost staff motivation and continuation of high production standards. Innovative thinking – Implemented website and quoting features that streamline production whilst also adding to service satisfaction. This reduced product waste and encouraged repeat business.
