I'm currently working as a Womenswear Fashion Designer in the UK. I consider myself a dedicated and hard-working individual. Having worked for over a year within the fashion industry as well as many other placement opportunities I am passionate that my creative interests are within Womenswear Design and Trend Design & Forecasting. I was selected to represent BCU at Graduate Fashion Week as part of a catwalk show with my final year collection in 2016 and was later selected in May 2017 to showcase at Jiangnan Fashion Week in China. Achievements include;

I currently work as a junior womenswear fashion designer on a small design team within a busy creative office environment. Within my current role I work closely with print designers and pattern cutters to ensure all aspects of the design are addressed before reaching the clients. I liase with far eastern and turkish mills for print, fabric and lab dips and contact suppliers for fabric and trim sourcing on a daily basis. We work alongside a costing team to ensure our client can afford the designs we produce. Each day’s responsibilities vary and it is a fast paced role.

I worked at the Zoe Jordan studio in Chelsea, London in early 2015 as a Studio Design Intern. During my time I worked alongside the pattern cutter to develop accessories patterns for their NYFW Autumn/Winter presentation.
I worked on patterns, sample making, fabric sourcing (mainly faux furs and luxury cloths), sales packs and orders, invitation design and graphics work for their website. I experienced working to tight deadlines with production and preparation for NYFW.
