Having a combination of an education and keen interest in retail and visual merchandising allows me to think outside-the-box and continually exceed standards. Within my role as Assistant/Acting manager in Cath Kidston I was responsible for maximising KPIs and the team’s performance. I ensured sales were pushed everyday by updating the shop floor and merchandising to adhere to sale figures. Within my role I was accountable for the health and safety policy and procedures and ensured they were at model store standards. Daily and weekly responsibilities included: team rotas, payroll, visual merchandising, store layout, window updates, sale moves, cashing up, team meetings and stocktake.
