I'm a UK based content writer with a strong interest in global entertainment, music, stardom and celebrity culture.
I achieved a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Film studies from De Montfort University in which I wrote a dissertation on Hallyu and the celebrity culture and versatile masculinities within South Korea. My main interests lie within music and entertainment, particularly around Asia (such as K-Pop, K-Rock, K-Dramas, T-Pop etc...) as well as Western music and entertainment. I have also completed a Level 1 HSK Mandarin test and I am currently enrolled on a Korean language course at Coventry University.
My words have featured in The Kraze, ANTI Magazine, and HALSUG, where I also interviewed Thai K-Pop singer Sorn, Hong Kong rapper POPP3DUP, Korean-American artist Doctor Yizzle, K-Electronic Band PRSNT, and K-Rock/Indie Band SURL, as well as my own blog, 97nineteen.
I am currently looking for more work within the entertainment and pop culture industry, where I can continue to strengthen my writing and interviewing skills, and develop new skills in other areas such as PR, publicity, and promotions, as well as create new connections with fellow entertainment industry workers.
