Through my extensive experience as a picture researcher and commercials director I have acquired an astute understanding of the requirements needed to create and coordinate engaging productions. Fresheye Film Productions is an award winning commercials Production Company. I was initially employed in a junior researcher capacity and progressed over the years to more senior roles.
Sourcing premium research material, contributing storytelling ideas and designing agency/client presentations. Mentoring and working closely with a research team, paving the way to successful outcomes of director pitches. The job entailed managing the department diary, ensuring that all client presentations remained on schedule. This environment frequently required last minute changes, often under pressurised time deadlines.
Additional duties required maintenance of camera equipment, upkeep of stock, software/hardware upgrades and reference material archival.
All presentations required experience of Photoshop, Adobe Encore, Final Cut Pro, Codecs and file formats.
Achievements
Upgraded research department, this included implementing editing systems, CMS, upgrading hardware and streamlining workflow. This resulted in cost reduction and greater efficiency within the department.
The role as commercials director entailed ensuring that client briefs were correctly interpreted and professionally translated into film and video. The role entailed conveying vision and inspiring creative teams, large and small.
Responsible for developing lighting references, storyboards, location photography, sound design, special effects, performance direction and script rewrites in conjunction with agency teams.
