At Zircom I was responsible for collaborating with the client and accounts team on various briefs through the initial discovery stage to developing a concept that fulfilled the clients vision and best communicated the story to their audience. On agreeing a direction and method I was responsible for scoping the project, developing the script, storyboarding, creating animatics, designing client visuals, creating the assets and finally animating and editing the videos.
I managed a team of animators and designers, identifying talent and appropriately delegating tasks. Employing both 2D and 3D techniques I created a wide variety of animations including explainer, idents, character, icon and text, story based, product mock-ups and event animations.
Significant achievements included the implementation of a production workflow; introducing processes, procedures and project management tools such as Trello and Frame.io to streamline video production. This enabled efficient project management and the opportunity to add extra value to projects and deliver to tight deadlines.
Other duties included digital and print design, producing websites, infographics, flyers, posters, brochures and special print projects.
