hi. my name is craig. i use music + stories + art to create immersive experiences.
i am a music producer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur. i am fascinated with human potential, and my various projects exist to explore these possibilities.
i produce and perform music under the alias matek. i create ambient music and textured soundscapes as craig de gouveia, and i make experimental electronic music as denizen_zero. my music is published by my record label, neon sun radio, and is available on all major platforms.
i am a co-founder of creation in motion (for film, sound, and immersive production), DSGN.cloud (a digital innovation hub) and the space around us (a youtube series) with my partner alison.
i am also the founder of paracosmos, a publishing platform for short films and comic books based on stories i have written.
i love to travel and can usually be found working on my latest projects in coffee shops, cafes, and co-working spaces around the world.

- the jazz tapei made a jazz album. some of these tracks started life as deep cuts from the future noir sessions. others emerged more recently. this collection stems from a decades-long obsession with jazzy progressions, instrumental hip hop, and 90s trip hop. these jams are simultaneously a tribute to and a subversion of those genres. i put a lot of love into these mixes. hope you enjoy the vibe!
