About me

Hi There, My name is Cris and I am a senior creative designer/Art Director looking for new opportunities. My background comes from Design and Advertising agencies. I have more than 10 years experience as a senior creative designer in Brazil, with broad experience in a mix of industries. Here in the UK, I have previously worked for PDC Brands/ Original Additions for 2 years as a full-time consultant working as a senior branding & packaging designer. At the moment I am working as a freelancer including working remotely with some global clients. As a creative designer my expertise focus in branding, and an extensive experience in integrated design, such as annual reports, brochure, web design, point of sale; packaging, brand activation, retail application, events, as well as exhibition. Nevertheless many years experience in print process and materials. I am fluent with creative concepts and comfortable working from the start until the very end of the project, as I have done previously with companies like BAT - British American Tobacco; L’Oreal - Lancôme, Coca-Cola Co. and Coca-Cola Brazil; The Brazilian Development Bank — BNDES; Petrobras BR; COB - Brazilian Olympic Committee and others. Working in line with brand guidelines and standards is a skill I have become proficient in throughout my career, not to mention being a specialist in building design teams, mentoring young professionals and project management. Proficient in Mac softwares and the Adobe Creative Suite. As a designer I tend to work alongside the marketing and strategy team to conceive of and to develop concepts to ensure consistency between the artwork and the brand. Communication and organisation are qualities that I strive to have in a team, in order to deliver any project on time within any given deadline. I am a little quirky with big ideas in mind, open to challenges and always interested in learning something new. Beyond graphic design I love good music and festivals. My favourite sport is F1, I’m not really into extreme sports such as bungee jumping or free falling, however I would give my support from the sideline holding my friend’s beer instead.
