After a 20 year career as a performer and music teacher, I'm starting out as a Media Composer. I originally trained both as an actor and a classical flute player -as well as a Suzuki flute teacher- And I have had a varied performing career both in drama and music alongside my teaching practice. A few years ago, the need to write music became too pressing to ignore. After recording two albums and due to my background and understanding of drama, my interest veered in the direction of film scoring and production music. I've spent the last few years learning the ropes and I'm open to opportunities to collaborate and gain experience. I'm interested in exploring the sound of things unsaid, the voice of hidden perception; the subtle, often subconscious, emotional landscape that permeates our lives and our every action.

- RetrospectionRetrospection is a short film by Brayden Morin, currently in post production (which is why I can't share any media at the moment!). I had the pleasure of scoring the film, which included listening to the directors intentions for the film, to make sure I would do justice to his vision; then writing the music, recording it (with me playing all instruments), editing it, mixing it, set it to picture; all the while keeping communication open with the director, showing him snippets of my work to get i
- Inner Music The JourneyInner Music The Journey travels from the underworld to the light, revealing an inescapably powerful yet subtle landscape. In their first album together, Crespo and Fontecha delve into the exquisite subtleties of deep emotional states, journeying from Dispossession, through Stillness, Resilience and Hope, finally arriving into Light.
