Cristina Guitian is an artist and an award-winning illustrator specialising in large scale murals and installations. She is available for commissions and often participates in live events and workshops.
Her detailed fine line drawings are regularly featured in the advertising, editorial and publishing sectors, including the book series 'What is the Issue?'. Running as a freelance illustrator since 2006, she is happy to be part of a creative team or tackle a brief on her own. Her client list extends from Google and Nike to the Guardian and Headspace.
Cristina created her first installation by combining a mural with found objects in London Design Week 2007. Since then, she regularly works large scale, like the huge 26 and 38 metre murals in the AMC Hospital in Amsterdam, and her interactive installation for WeTheCurious, the Museum of Science in Bristol.
Over the years, the artist has developed a mythological world of her own under her alter ego Cristina Reyes, with exhibitions in Amsterdam, Barcelona, London, Madrid, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo.
