I am a Sydney born, London based freelance designer and illustrator. I have a background in print and textile design, graphic design, teaching illustration and design in a university setting, and product and packaging design. I have an eye for detail and a mind for making things beautiful. I love colour, texture, and making the world a more lovely place. I aim to design sustainably and ethically, and am always looking out for ways to better my practice, and better the world while I do that! I am skilled in Textile and Print Design, Graphic Design, Illustration and Sketching, Trend Analysis, Textiles, Ecommerce and People Management.
Projects
- OrchidiaTo make Orchidia, I used vintage scientific illustrations of different orchids and digitally worked them into a repeat pattern with different colour-ways. I loved that in some of the illustrations the artists had included bees and birds and worked them into this print for a little extra fun.
- Golden LeopardGolden Leopard is a print that came from a day of simply playing about with paints with no clear intention what would come of it. There is something freeing about painting so intuitively and that playfulness was something I wanted to retain when I made this particular painting into a print.
- Passion FlowerAlmost every house I’ve lived in had had passionfruit vines in the garden. This inspired me to make this Passion Flower print. To do this, I used vintage scientific illustrations of different passionfruit vines and their flowers and digitally worked them into a repeat pattern with different colourways.
- TropicanaTo make Tropicana, I used vintage scientific illustrations of different tropical leaves and digitally worked them into a repeat pattern with different colourways. I love the use of greenery and plants in prints, and the tropical trees I’ve used remind me of growing up in Australia and the amazing plants that grow in warm climates.

Work history
Online fulfilmentNatural History Museum
London, United KingdomFull Time
My position as a supervisor of the Natural History Museum online shop fulfilment team has allowed me to strengthen my organisational and interpersonal skills. At times I have to manage a team of temporary workers in a high-pressure environment, which has really emphasised the importance of working well as a team and providing the right training to team members. When I started this position, there was little to no organisation, stock management, or records of Standard Operating Procedures. The team was resistant to change and did not communicate well with each other or with the other e-commerce and customer service teams. I have developed training, organised people and redesigned documents and packing methods, and developed procedures to make things as easy to use and smooth to run in a team that communicates well.
