About me
I’m a French industrial designer whose practice takes place at the border between science and arts, searching for crossing between fields such as biology, new technology research, anthropology, sociology, neurology and artistic areas such as fine arts, dance or japanese tea ceremony. Interdisciplinarity and experimentation are both my ingredients to touch on user experience, which is central in my approach of product and interaction design. My work has rooted interest in the way interaction with a product can convey subtle and varycolored sensations that can enhance and go beyond the simple shape or fonctionnality.

Choreographies of uses - medicinal cannabis inhalerGraduation project at ENSCI-les Ateliers. Without movement, there is no use. Designing an object whether physical or digital, the designer indirectly recommends a movement to users. We can think about simple and daily actions as uncork a bottle, turn on a light switch, enlarge an image on a smartphone, or typing on a keyboard. Nevertheless, if gesture has a rich sensible and expressive potential, it is rarely a point on which the designer focuses. I explored a methodology which would start fr

  • Nukkun
NukkunProject realized at CEA, a scientific research center based in Grenoble, in partnership with the LETI laboratory. With Elise Caron. The aim of this research project was to imagine insertion scenarios oh the BCI emerging technology (Brain Computer Interface) which is a brain machine interface that enable to measure brain activity through electrodes in contact with the skull. As each part of the brain corresponds to a specific function, electrical signals emitted by the brain can be interpreted by a machine and then communicated to human through an interface. Today applied to hard handicap situations as locked-in syndrome, we considered a more general use of BCI as an insomnia treatment device. Indeed sleeping troubles are often result of uncontrolled nervous states (stress, anxiety…) which can be received by BCI technology. So we imagined Nukkun device. It is composed of a textile headband which enable to fix electrodes in the head, and a tactile interface placed in the user’s hand which translates the user’s nervous state by a massage whose speed is proportional to brain signals’ amplitude. The less nervous the user is, the more the massage slows down. Trying to calm down the little moving object in his hand, the user appeases himself, which helps him to fall asleep.
  • Regence
RegenceRegence’s lines are inspired by traditional sled, redesigned in a single line, as an unrolling ribbon. In spite of its looks of delicacy and false fragility, it gets its strength from the combination of aluminium and wood. Indeed, wood rigidity associated to aluminium flexibility confers to Regency its solidity, for vertiginous snowy downhills.
