Dafne Berdini

Video Editor, Digital Asset CoordinatorLondon, United Kingdom
About me
My name is Dafne Berdini and I have a very strong passion for films and all things media. During my bachelor degree, I volunteered in Rome International Film Festival and Festival del cinema Ritrovato in Bologna. After moving to London, I got a Master's Degree in International Journalism at City University, specialising in Entertainment Writing and Broadcast Journalism. During the year, I produced several TV and Radio news packages. I’m currently working as a Video Editor for Banijay Rights (Previously Endemol Shine Group), where I’ve been for more than a year. As part of the Digital Team, I am in charge of quality checking and editing digitised assets (such as Humans, Peaky Blinders, MasterChef World) and distributing them across multiple media streaming platforms (YouTube, Amazon Prime, Roku, Samsung TV). I am responsible for the organisation, ingest, transcoding, backup and archiving of all the assets. I produced, directed and edited a short film in two days for the Endemol Shine annual short-film competition. I’m open to any freelance and full-time job opportunity, in editing or producing videos.
Projects
  • Daydream (Short Film)
Daydream (Short Film)London is full of lonely people afraid to do the first move. We became disconnected through our virtual connections, living between the four walls of our rooms and dreaming about what's out there. Loneliness does not depend on race, age or profession. Even though we are different, we all sometimes feel lonely. Film by: Dafne Berdini, Alzbeta Kovandova, Andre 'Nilmorah' Tomlin Actors: Tegan Gallacher, Michael Tcherepashenets Music: David Giraldo Garcia, Simon Pasqualin, Carlos Olmo Hernandez
