  • 45 Symbols: LOL
45 Symbols: LOLA generation of ‘instant messengers’ constantly default to acronyms so it’s unsurprising how many acronyms are misinterpreted and have developed often absurd meanings. In a joint project, our challenge was to visualize this misinterpretation through the use of 45 symbols. We created a family of symbols to represent the acronym LOL. Each symbol is a different acronym of ‘LOL’ made up of ‘L’s and ‘O’s. Our acronyms are designed to become more and more ridiculous to reflect the ludicrous meanings of these misinterpretations.
  • After Hours
After HoursI reintroduced the National Trust as a connector between people and places, re-connecting 25 to 44 year olds to beauty and nature. I created ‘After Hours’, a programme of events in National Trust locations after work hours. Inspiring an audience to ‘see us in a new light’ by combining the locations history with a contemporary edge. Focusing on urban professionals who don’t realise what locations are on their doorstep.
  • Spike Jonze
Spike JonzeA collaborative project to create a new visual language for film advertising by promoting a retrospective screening of a chosen director. Focusing on Spike Jonze and the depth and mystery within his work, reflecting these values through an infinity mirror. We crafted an infinity mirror to show the effectiveness of physical as well as digital or print.
  • Airbnb Selfs
Airbnb SelfsI created a more personal level of trust for users of Airbnb, through avatars called ‘Selfs’. Users can gain insights into other user’s lives, and feel more comfortable contacting them. ‘Selfs’ are made up of shapes representing parts of the users life in an order to show how they would desire to be personally known.
  • Ease
EaseI created a vision to foster creative thinking in a non-creative sector. A digital information service called ‘ease’, promoting and organising sabbaticals for companies in the technology sector.
  • YMCA Rebrand
YMCA RebrandI have redesigned YMCA England to reflect their work and hands on approach as well as making young people aware they can always come to YMCA for help. I created branding and a campaign that is centred around showing how YMCA celebrate’s people’s potential, centred around a positive mark of clapping hands and brand language to reflect the personal and hands on approach of the charity.
