Having grown up in Venezuela, Bangladesh, London and Brazil I have had a varied education and exposure to a plethora of cultures, people and places. This has resulted in an insatiable sense of curiosity and desire to connect with people from all walks of life through storytelling. My intention as a filmmaker is to create pieces that compel, engross, entertain and challenge audiences into critical engagement with the screen. The collaborative and discursive development of ideas that shine a light on interesting people, cultures, places and their stories is what inspires me to make films.

- Family Outing (Working Title)*currently in pre-production* A short film based on real events about an estranged Mother and Daughter meeting for the first time after 20 years. Narrated by the father whose actions have kept them apart for so long; this film hopes to highlight an often forgotten and turgid past blurring two truths to emphasise the silencing of one.
