About me

Dan’s core specialisms span music, filmmaking and livestream curation. His keen videographer’s eye is in demand with clients including Ableton, Resident Advisor, Mixmag Japan and Fabric London. He has also conducted insightful interviews with numerous high profile artists including DJ Premier, Derrick May and Seth Troxler. He has presented numerous shows at the International Radio Festival and on Hoxton FM, the independent internet radio station he founded in 2011. Dan has collaborated on music for Subtatic with Tileff and Yama music with Locïc. His DJ sets move effortlessly between the upbeat emotional house and techno sounds from Detroit and Berlin through to the deeper, dubby, minimal sounds of London. Renowned for groovy rhythms and tight mixing, it’s clear to hear that Dan Formless is a deep thinker, a real selector.With over 20 years experience as a DJ, producer and curator of music on Hoxton FM, Dan continues to film inspiring interviews with artists and build partnerships around the world. Dommune (Tokyo), Hq (Barcelona), Spacehall (Berlin) and Zwart Goud (Amsterdam) are some of the highlights. His vast network of contacts, growing back catalogue of releases and burgeoning record collection are not the only things that set him apart. Previously Dan was highly regarded in the business support and start-ups arena as the youngest ever CEO of a British chamber of commerce. Specialising in delivering innovative solutions to facilitate the growth of member companies in Richmond upon Thames, he delivered many ground breaking initiatives across London before pursuing his passions in music, filmmaking and live-streaming.
