In this role I was the in house engineer responsible for mixing FOH and Monitors operating a Midas Pro1 console, operation of lights rig and video screening. Setup and test DJ equipment for club night such as Pioneer DJM 900, Pioneer CDJ 2000 NEXUS and Technics 1210 Mk2 . As a in house engineer I carried out maintenance on faulty equipment, repairing various cable types (audio and lights) and installed all new equipment purchased. Other main duties are stage management, to ensure the smooth running of the show and health and safety requirements are followed. I've been working and liaise closely with bands and promoters such as Live nation, Parallel lines, EYOE, DHP family, Metropolis, Bird on the wire, AEG and many more. The course took place at O2 Academy Islington and other venues around London. During this course I had the opportunity to put my knowledge into practice and now I am able to mix with analogue and digital consoles, setting up stages, miking up instruments, setting up small PA system, ringing out monitors using graphic eq to eliminate feedback, equalise, establish a mix using FX and dynamics.
