Projects
- PA Engineer using d&b audiotechnik XSLI am delighted to share that I have had the incredible opportunity to design, build, and operate the most complex PA system to date. This project presented unique challenges and demands, a 360-stage with two catwalks on both sides, a flat stage view and a requirement for headsets microphones to work flawlessly. But we nailed it thanks to the incredible teamwork and the cutting-edge technology at our disposal. The PA system featured a d&b audiotechnik XSL cardioid for mains with array processin
- Hard work pays off…it feels great to achieve another milestone in my professional career!Over 2000 people attended this one-day conference at Telford International Centre where I have worked as Head PA System Tech. PA system deployed was 4 hangs of d&b Audiotechnik V8/12, B22 subs in CSA mode and Y7P as front fills. All system was driven by #D80 amps. #arrayprocessing for an even frequency response across the listening space. Big thanks go to my client for trusting me with the sound design on this big job and to the audio crew for the support and excellent teamwork!
- Jazz Carols at Central Hall WestminsterMy last gig of 2022 was mixing the live jazz carol band at CHW. Three Yamaha mixing desk were used, QL1 for FOH, QL1 for monitors and QL5 for the broadcast mix. The PA was a d&b Audiotechnick Y12/Y8's line array and Y7s point source with V-Subs for audio reinforcement.
- It was fun mixing the very first TEDx Soho at Cambridge Theatre.Lots of good speakers and performers with a very lively interactive audience. The theatre PA system was a Meyer Sound and stage monitors from d&b audiotechnik . For the choice of the microphone, I went for DPA Microphones A/S 4088 directional headsets for the speakers, Sennheiser SKM5200 with Georg Neumann GmbH capsule for the main presenters. The mixing console was Professional Audio - Yamaha Corporation of America QL1 with RIO Stage box and I loved the integration with Steinberg Media Technol
