I'm Daniel, a Product (UX) Designer, Strategist, and founder of Durran. I help startups create meaningful digital products, solve real business challenges, and innovate faster.
I have worked with a wide spectrum of companies, ranging from early-stage startups to massive consumer bases as well as enterprise businesses - both B2C and B2B - across diverse domains such as Technology, Healthcare, Publishing, Education, and Professional Services.
These experiences have allowed me to oversee all aspects of product development - from idea conception to launch - and develop a comprehensive grasp of both business and user goals.
My expertise consists of - but is not limited to - creating new digital products from scratch, innovating through the addition of new features or improving existing solutions, and serving as a consultant for every aspect of the product design ecosystem.
I also love giving back to the design community by mentoring junior designers in my spare time.
Projects
- FlipSnack – Content editor and flipbook maker, in your browserFlipSnack’s content editor helps users create or improve their flipbooks by adding buttons, images, videos or even a PayPal widget. During this project, I have worked closely with the Product Owner and dev team to design a tool that fits with the user’s needs.
- MEDIJobs – Redesign and UX improvements of a healthcare recruitment platformMEDIjobs is a Romanian start-up that aims to bridge the gap between healthcare professionals and clinics or hospitals that are searching for new staff. I have worked closely with one of the Co-Founders to redesign the platform and improve the overall experience for their users.
- Analytics Dashboard & Dashboarding toolCognetik is a business analytics & data visualization company. They help their clients to make faster decisions and improve their digital experiences by using data. My task was to redesign their existing platform and improve on what they had at the moment so that the whole dashboard creation process would be easier and faster.
