About me
In high-school during a schools festival the leader of a rock band Perfect came in. It seems like he was like on of many guests that came to talk to the nextyears graduates about the singers career. I covered all the visits of various guests who finished this high-school. Grzegorz Markowski – that's his name- decided to look around the building. He asked me to take him to the School Director office. And then he put his legs in her desk and laughting he signed a guest book. I did a picture of that situation and it showed up in school paper the next morning. A week long festival got shortened. Co-editors of the schools paper were suspended and then slowly kicked out of school. Then I realised the power of photography. Since then even thought I graduated from architecture I took photos whenever I could. I took pictures of everything and everyone. Around 2004 I bought a digital Nikon D70. Before that I already had my own F60 and now I gave him a brother :) Untill now I often have a digital and an analogue with me. Of course missing some situations, beacause I can't decide which one to take out first. After finishing my ingineer studies I did 2 year course of photography in Warsaws School of Photography of Marian Szmidt 2007-2009. I took part in workshops with Alex Majoli (2009) and with Cedric Gerbehaye (2012). I also did a one year course of photojournalisme in 2012-2013. Right now I'm a second year student at Institut tvurci fotografie w Opava, Czech Republic.
In 2007 i started working in architectural design office. In between I took pictures as a freelancer. Since 2014 I focused on photograhy. 2014-2017 I was working for East News agency as Spot News Photographer. Since 2018 I cooperate with Grupa Wirtualna Polska (as contributing photographer) adn with Forum Agency. Now, except few of my clients, I work mainly (since 2020) with Polish Prime Ministers Office including the Prime Minister himself.
