About me
I am a multi-disciplined post-production freelancer with over 10-years of experience, including editing broadcast trailers, music videos, live events, adverts, branded content, short and long-form scripted films and documentaries. I am certified by Blackmagic Design in DaVinci Resolve Studio, proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and experienced in After Effects, Avid and Photoshop. Previous clients include Microsoft, Unicef, Virgin, Lidl, the BFI and Warner Bros. Recently, I coloured the BFI / Doc Society supported feature documentary Maisie, which premiered at the Sheffield Doc Fest (2021) and won Best Documentary at the Dublin Film Festival (2022). I also edited and coloured the scripted feature film Cat Skin, which won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Feature Film at the Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival (2017). In short films, I edited and coloured the documentary See Again (2019), which premiered at the Manchester Film Festival (2020), and the scripted short One Last Run (2019), which screened at the Palm Springs Short Film Market (2019). I earned my stripes editing and re-versioning broadcast trailers at OnDemand! (Now Vubiquity), edited tight 24-hour turn-around Financial Results videos at the London Stock Exchange, and worked my way up to Head of Post-Production for the agency Instinctif Partners, where I managed a team of editors to deliver branded content. I graduated from the University for the Creative Arts in Farnham with a BA Honours in Film Production. And I was offered a spot on the Master's editing course at the National Film and Television School, along with the David Lean Scholarship. I am based in Hampshire and set up for remote work, but I am happy to travel if needed.
