Commissioning of the ATT plant and redesign of the PCS7 control system to resolve problems found in functional descriptions, software design specifications and P&IDs to ensure functionality issues are resolved and documents align, operation was simplified to minimise operator error and reduce training time required to use the system.
Heavily involved in the LOPA study to help design the safety systems and ensure compliance with HSE legislation.
Cold commissioning duties included loop checking and equipment functionality, alarm and controller set point formulation, as well as operational document creation and development.
During hot commissioning I offered technical support for the operator and maintenance teams, and utilized process data analysis to ensure correct function and to maximise efficiency during the performance tests, long term project aims were to reduce costs and increase revenue over the 25 year life span.
