My name is Daniela Galliski and I'm a freelance illustrator. I specialize in naturalistic illustration, looking for an organic and classic style through the use of traditional techniques with inks, watercolors and pencils, but at the same time the fresh touch that Graphic Design tools can gives.
The world of art and painting have been present in me for as long as I can remember, I was excited whenever I felt the smell of the pencils sharpened, and the anxiety to fill with drawings every blank space that I saw. Although at the end of high school I decided to study Graphic Design at the University of Cuyo, the circumstances of life led me to abandon my career and follow the path of the Bachelor of History at the University of Patagonia San Juan Bosco. Despite these swings, drawing and painting did not disappear from my life, and I was further driven by my curiosity to be self-taught, not to tie myself to a specific idea, just simply exploring and learning new alternatives.
Looking for inspiration in nature, travel and cultures around the world, I create illustrations where animals and plants are my favorite heroes. The care in the details and the revaluation of the use of materials as versatile as inks and watercolors, are points of great importance in my work. In my portfolio you will find pieces adaptable to different areas, decorative, editorial or advertising.
I am a curious and adventurous person, willing to work in a team and learn a little more every day.
