This was a role I took on at my university, working for the student newspaper, which was printed once a week. Central St Martins Editor: As news editor for CSM I was responsible for a small team of writers who focused on that particular school for the newspaper. I had to delegate stories, come up with article ideas, and subedit their copy to the ALN house style, as well as write my own stories to the weekly deadline. Features Writer: As features writer, I was responsible for submitting longer lifestyle articles each week, that involved students or events happening at the university, as well as opinion pieces and reviews. I often kept an open line of communication with my editor as the subject of my piece could change instantly if something urgent came up and I had to be very flexible in this role.
