About me
I am an active and healthy 22-year-old looking looking to explore new personal experiences and professional challenges in Scotland. I am open to trying any position, whether it be paid or voluntary, in-person or remote, with a particular interest in creative or charitable industries. I am always keen to learn new things, try something different, and exceed expectations. This is why I have taken on roles in a variety of sectors in the past, which has given me a unique and diverse skillset that allows me to adapt to each new workplace with both efficiency and success, regardless of the nature of the work. I have recently graduated from the University of Glasgow with an honours degree of the Second Class (First Division) in Philosophy.

I assist in all elements of operations on the shop floor. I will; work on the tills, welcome customers, answer customer queries, replenish stock and take deliveries. Given the high-end market Hotel Chocolat operates in, I have to act very professionally and aim to achieve an exceptional level of customer satisfaction. I must also be extremely vigilant in regards to the COVID-19 regulations in place and be prepared to adapt to any new announcements and rules put in place, paying close attention to all of the training I've received so that I can work well with my team in order to keep the workplace safe for everyone.

My most important role is to manage the till and provide assistance to customers. I also handle donations and manage the stock on a regular basis to find the best items for the shop floor to keep it well presented. I regularly clean the shop floor and occasionally assist in cashing up at the end of the day. This work is particularly special to me, not just because of the great cause I was working towards, but because I enjoy the strong sense of community in the workplace.

Second Class (First Division) Philosophy MAUniversity of Glasgow
     - Glasgow, United Kingdom
Philosophy teaches you how to think in a clear and analytic way from multiple points of view, whilst also thinking in new and innovative ways. I also learned how to convey these complex points of view in well-structured and persuasive arguments in both written and spoken form. I covered many fields of philosophy, each teaching me new skills and furthering my ability to think critically. For example, my multiple Logic courses taught me a new analytical language and how to pay close attention to detail, whereas Epistemology taught me to question my quantifications of knowledge and seek deeper foundations for my beliefs. I was required to write a dissertation in my final year. I chose to cover Duncan Pritchard's Anti-Luck Virtue Epsitemology, and why I believed it was an incorrect theory of knowledge. I recieved an A4 for this work.
