About me

I’m a graphic designer and art director with creative industry experience of over 16 years. Skilled at working creatively in the digital environment, in print, photography and film with advanced visual and typographical awareness. Creative process is exercised in consideration of a client sensitive commercial agenda. Initially working as graphic designer on a select of notable style and street culture magazines I progressed to working as art director on ‘special projects’ in creation of new print product launches. I then chose to diversify and further advance my career, utilizing my skillset, extending into the design and ad agency environment. A wealth of experience of working hands on building brands, individually and as part of a team, handling projects from conception though to completion. Awarded and recognized for creative contribution in design and art direction of the following products: • Westbrook Frames e-commerce website (Communicator Awards for Visual Appeal) • TLQ Digital Magazine (DMA Award for Best News & Business Magazine) • The Observer (Newspaper Production Award & SPD Award for Design) • Grazia Magazine (MDA Award for Design) • Jack Magazine (MDA Award for Design) Awarded title of Key Creative (plus $5000) by Open Ad in 2004 for the successful pitching of an award winning campaign idea for Easyjet budget airlines as judged by internationally renowned advertising executives. An experienced conceptual thinker I have spent several years working in creative partnership with numerous talented copywriters in generation of ad campaigns. Accredited by Canon for my documentary photography work submitted into a sponsored competition in 2011.
