About me

My name is Darren Siah and I'm a freelance artist, illustrator and graphic designer hugely interested in the relationship between colour, sound & the moving image. I combine a mixture of these different disciplines to create work that feels fun, vibrant and totally unique. After studying a BA in Drama at Exeter University, I ventured onto professional photography & Adobe Suite training with City Lit Academy which enhanced my knowledge of image creation, editing & video production. I was also the recipient of the Gabriel Bruce Arts Scholarship for my creative work at Bedales School.

  Sirène resterauntFor this brief, I was asked to develop imagery and creative artwork for a new seafood resteraunt titled "Sirène". In keeping with the water theme I developed a soft colour pallette and proposed a combination of mid-century and contemporary interior design concepts to create a unique & vibrant interior atmosphere. The logo, menu & mood boards were all created using a mixture of hand-drawing, Adobe Photoshop & Indesign.
