About me

My name is Darryl Kwaku Otten, just graduated from University of the arts London - London College of Communication where I studied Design For Art Direction, I’m interested in fashion photography, moving image and sound design. I love to use vibrant colour and props in my photography and I’m passionate about what I do and always willing to learn and be the best I can be, I love to collaborate on project which has made me a good team player. I have a lot of freelance experience working in the studio and on outdoor set. I have worked with African Musicians such as Davido and Mr. Eazi and assisted on a Wonderland Magazine and Notion Magazine shoot.

  Harpers Bazaar Vietnam 10th Anniversary couture specialOne of my favourite shoots to date from the brilliant mind of @kurtisslloyd | Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam 10th Anniversary Couture special Set by me, which would have been impossible without the amazing prop maker and set decorator, Mika Lapid. The 'frozen' set is inspired by Yasua Kionishi who used Urea crystals to create this 'snow' like effect in his original sculptures.   Détente- An operation of spa diplomacy°‘Détente’ is an operation of diplomacy through spa practices facilitating relaxation, learning and enhancing common good between us. Acting as an unorthodox approach to political activism, we remove ourselves from the alter of work. This much needed space comes from research around our contemporary trade and political practices.
