About me
A highly ambitious Public Relations undergraduate pursuing opportunities in marketing communications and strategic planning in the consumer sector. I possess good written and verbal communication skills, and can work efficiently in both individual and team settings. Through internships with PR agencies and in-house communication departments, I have gathered experience in branding, visual merchandising and public affairs, and wish to develop myself further in an exciting and creative environment.

TEDxUAL is an independent event licensed by TED Global, and organised by students of the University of the Arts London (UAL). Debuting in 2016, the event continues to run exclusively for UAL staff and students annually.
As the Public Relations Manager for TEDxUAL 2018, I am in charge of conceptualising the 2018 brand blueprint and communication strategies, working closely with the marketing department to oversee the marketing and outreach campaign for the event. I help to develop and curate original content for our Facebook and Instagram pages, and organise editorial calendars and production schedules for creative outputs. I also do media pitching for the event around and outside of UAL, and manage relationships with sponsors, partners and external affiliates.

As part of the Marketing department, I work closely with prospective students to apply and successfully progress to our courses or other courses within the University. Some of my duties include:
- Providing application advice and counsel on-site during UCAS fairs and outreach events, and off-site over the phone and e-mail
- Conducting content audits on UCAS pages/university databases where UAL/LCC are listed on
- Writing blog posts for the BA (Hons) Public Relations course page on LCC's website
- Developing content for e-zines/newsletters that are sent to prospective students
- Assisting in the running of Open Days, grad shows, exhibitions and other outreach events in LCC
I also work at the Information Centre as a front-of-house assistant, where I handle:
- Meeting and greeting visitors to the university
- Assisting students/staff/visitors with inquiries
- Conducting facility tours around LCC
- Tracking e-mail inquiries using Salesforce CRM
