I graduated from Oxford Brookes University in June 2018 with a Part 1 Architecture degree and then went on to study at Shillington College to expand my design knowledge. Having recently also graduated from Shillington, I am actively seeking a job as a Graphic Designer.Locked Pro Plan feature
- Created lookbooks and brand documents. - Designed invitations for events. - Helped design the Linda Farrow 50 Year logo. - Visualised all Linda Farrow store windows worldwide for the SS20 season and helped the art director with the concept and design. - Sourced materials and dealt with production for store windows. - Assisted with photo shoots. - Created artwork for digital and print, including a 22m wide billboard in Hong Kong. - Worked on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment whilst managing my own time - improving my organisational skills and pushing my ability to communicate with different teams. - Re-formatted and edited videos. - Retouched model shots. - Assisted with web design.
- Helped draw up and modify plans on VectorWorks. - Picked out furniture for clients. - Created material boards for clients. - Reorganised all the files on the system including the CADblocks used on VectorWorks. - Accompanied architects' to site during construction of a large scale residential project.
- I encountered a residential project of 3000m2 under construction when the steel frame had been assembled and saw a rapid transformation at the end of the two months. - Sat in on meetings with clients and the teams involved in the projects PM&A were involved with at the time. I gained an understanding of how architects communicate their ideas to the clients and satisfy their demands whilst still being realistic in what is capable in being achieved. - Helped resolve issues with basement planning permissions. - Helped pick out materials for interior of a residential project. - Proved that I am confident in decision making.
- Translated hand drawn sketches of plans and sketches onto AutoCAD to present to clients for projects. - Joined project meetings finalising the design of a complex of flats. - Constructed Styrofoam models from street plans in the model making department, giving me a better understanding of how different components of an architectural practice come together.
